Objective: To equip participants with a comprehensive understanding of the principles, functions, and importance of earthing/grounding systems in electrical installations.
To develop participants’ ability to design effective and reliable earthing systems for substations, industrial facilities, commercial buildings, and lightning protection applications.
To enhance practical skills in the proper installation of earthing electrodes, grounding conductors, bonding systems, and related protective components.
To strengthen participants’ competence in conducting earth resistance testing, soil resistivity measurements, and inspection of grounding system performance and integrity.
To build participants’ capacity to identify, troubleshoot, and mitigate common earthing and grounding problems while ensuring electrical safety standards, compliance, and risk reduction.
