COURSE OBJECTIVES

It is expected that, at the end of the course the participants will be able to:

• Understand the various laws and policies related to gender based violence Understand
international and regional perspectives on sexual and gender based violence;

• Understand the effects at sexual and gender based violence in the community and
workplace; and

• Understand the legal processes involved in dealing with sexual and gender based
violence.
