LEARNING OUTCOMES

By the end of the course participants will be able to:

• Apply the Public Procurement Act, 2023, Regulations, 2024 and PPRA requirements in construction procurement and contract processes.
• Plan and manage construction procurement activities, including procurement methods, tendering procedures, tender evaluation and preparation of evaluation reports.
• Interpret and apply PPRA standard tendering and contract documents for large and small works, including relevant FIDIC principles.
• Effectively administer construction contracts, including management of payments, variations, extensions of time, claims, and contractual obligations.
• Manage contractual risks and support decision-making to minimize disputes, enhance compliance, improve project performance and achieve value for money.
