This course aims to provide participants with a solid foundation in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) principles and spatial data concepts. It seeks to develop practical skills in using QGIS for spatial data collection, editing, and management, while enabling participants to perform spatial analysis and querying to effectively support problem-solving. The training also focuses on equipping participants with the ability to design and create clear, professional maps and visualizations. Additionally, the course introduces GIS applications such as web mapping to enhance data sharing and communication. Through a hands-on capstone project, participants will gain practical experience applying GIS techniques to real-world challenges, empowering them to utilize GIS for data-driven decision-making in their respective fields
